Hej, I'm Filip.
I'm a platform engineer from Sweden. Most of my work is with VMware: designing environments, operating them, and automating the repetitive parts.
The day-to-day
I work with vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and VMware Cloud Foundation. That means decisions about storage policies, failure domains, network segmentation, and how to get from one version to the next.
I like understanding what happens when something fails. Which host can we lose? Where does the witness belong? What needs to be checked before an upgrade? Those questions tend to become articles here.

After work
The home lab gives me somewhere to try things. My apartment's Home Assistant runs on a two-node vSAN cluster, which is more infrastructure than the lights need. I've written up the design and the reasons behind it.
